There is a small airport adjoining the town; domestic flights depart for Darwin and Alice Springs a few times a week. The only other travel option is coach (the Townsville – Alice Springs/Darwin route). Some people also choose to take the luxurious Ghan train and transfer to coach at Alice Springs.
